We want customers to review each Hartwork piece with confidence. This policy applies to purchases made directly through hartwork.life and does not limit rights that apply under local consumer law.
Return window
Contact Hartwork within 14 days after delivery to request a return. After a return is authorized, the item must be sent back promptly using the instructions provided. Returns sent without authorization may be delayed or refused.
Return condition
Returned clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in its original condition with any original tags and packaging. Items showing wear, washing, fragrance, stains, damage, alteration, or missing components may not qualify for a refund.
Non-returnable items
Gift cards, personalized or made-to-order items, and items identified as final sale are not returnable except where required by law. For hygiene and safety reasons, other exclusions may be identified on the relevant product page before purchase.
Return shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an item arrived damaged, defective, or materially different from the order. Original shipping charges are not refundable except where required by law. We recommend using a trackable return method because Hartwork is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected. Bank or payment-provider processing times vary and may take additional business days. We will notify the customer if a return is approved, partially approved, or declined.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Contact Hartwork promptly after delivery if an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Include the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs so we can review the request and offer an appropriate remedy.
Exchanges and cancellations
Direct exchanges depend on current inventory. When an exchange is unavailable, a return and new order may be required. Cancellation requests should be submitted immediately, but an order cannot be cancelled after fulfillment has begun.
How to start a return
Use the Contact page and include the order number, item, reason for the request, and any relevant photographs. Do not send merchandise until return instructions have been provided.
