About the CEO — Joseph Rodriguez
Founder of Hartwork.life
For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried this idea inside me. I didn’t know the name at first, and I didn’t know the timing — but I knew the feeling. I knew the world needed more love, more understanding, more connection. I knew people needed a reminder of what life is really built on.
That reminder became Hartwork.
I’ve always believed that love is in everything. Even in the hardest moments, love is usually sitting right behind the misunderstanding. Most problems start because someone didn’t feel heard, didn’t feel understood, or didn’t feel seen. But when you take the time to understand somebody — really understand them — something changes. The wall comes down. The tension softens. The fight disappears.
That’s the kind of love I want to put back into the world.
And let me be clear — I’m from Brooklyn. Spreading love is not a slogan to us.
It’s culture. It’s tradition. It’s how we grew up.
It’s the Brooklyn way.
But somewhere along the way, the world shifted. People got colder, quicker to judge, quicker to fight, slower to listen. The love that was once natural started fading. And I couldn’t sit back and watch that disappear. I wanted something that brought us back to the roots — back to real humanity, real community, real heart.
That’s where the name “Hartwork” came from. Because love isn’t passive.
Love takes effort.
Love takes courage.
Love takes work — real hart work.
Everything we do at Hartwork.life has one mission: Spread love and help people spread love to each other. Whether it’s:
- A “Live With Love” shirt sent to someone who needs encouragement
- A “Tree of Hart” design with two names representing your bond
- Apparel created for fundraisers and community events
- Or a simple message worn proudly to inspire someone else…
Every piece we make is a message. A reminder. A bridge between hearts.
This company isn’t about selling clothes.
It’s about creating connection — one person, one message, one act of love at a time.
I built this brand because love built me. Love is how I survived, how I grew, how I became the man I am. And I refuse to let the world drift too far from something that important.
Hartwork is my way of putting love back into the streets, back into the homes, back into the conversations, and back into the people.
If you’re wearing Hartwork, you’re not just wearing a shirt. You’re carrying a message. You’re carrying intention. You’re carrying love — the kind that heals, connects, and reminds us who we are.
Thank you for being part of this movement. Let’s spread love together — the way Brooklyn taught us.
Live with love. Open your hart. Do the hart work.
